Dr. Patrick Connor is a Kearsarge Regional High school graduate and area-native. He received his Animal Science degree from the University of New Hampshire, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He received his DVM degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, Florida after falling in love with the horse and cattle pastures of agricultural North-Central Florida.
Dr. Connor has been practicing companion animal and large animal medicine in New Hampshire since 2011 focusing primarily on small animal surgery, internal medicine and preventative healthcare. Dr. Connor also owns and operates a private Equine Veterinary practice focusing on Acupuncture in addition to general equine ambulatory medicine and surgery.
He is very excited to be back working in the Kearsarge and Lake Sunapee area and is honored to be part of Wendell Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Connor believes in a thorough and practical approach to veterinary medicine and strives to do his very best for every patient. He enjoys all aspects of being a veterinarian and is continually amazed by the ability and capacity of a human being to love and care for an animal.
Dr. Connor is married to Dr. Kate Connor. They were veterinary school classmates and met the very first day of school. They live together in Warner with their twin daughters and share their house with one cat and two dogs. Outside, they have egg laying hens, a few rabbits and also keep a few honey bee hives. Dr. Connor spends every possible minute with his wife and daughters and is also an avid outdoorsman with interests that include: hiking, trout and salmon fishing, mushrooming, camping, gardening, traveling, skiing and being outside for any reason.
